Owner, Dr.Ruth Urand, a well known Naturopathic Physician in Poulsbo, WA conceived the idea of a local 'green' hair salon primarily to satisfy the needs of her chemically sensitive patients and generally for people who want to be able to breathe fresh air while having their hair cut or colored.  The 'showcase' of this truly green salon are the non toxic, chemical free products that are high quality and very effective.   It IS easy being green!

Stylist Sara McCluskey has 8 years of hairstyling experience.  In true Naturopathic fashion, she loves her job and it shows in the quality of her work. 
In her own words, "Why I do what I do? I love the aspect of transformation and change. It is very creative and personal. Everybody has different needs, wants, expectations and personality types so every cut, color, and style is a wonderful challenge.  My reward is when they leave the salon satisfied and excited about their hair, and that is also my ultimate goal."
